Who Am I?
A dedicated learner.
An action-oriented connecter.
A passionate storyteller.
I am a digital communications expert with 17+ years of experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in the New York Metro area, Northeast US, and abroad. Throughout my career, I have managed digital content and communication projects for various corporate and philanthropic entities, including Verizon, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on society, I have always sought opportunities to give back to others. I served as a guide for disabled runners in the NYC Marathon, taught English in Morocco and the Philippines, and worked as a team leader in rebuilding a school in post-earthquake Nepal.
To better understand the underlying systems behind development issues, I earned a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice (MPA-DP) from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), specializing in combining public policy with innovative communication strategies.
This allowed me to produce content for organizations dedicated to youth empowerment, such as Mercy Corps’ youth inclusion initiative in Nepal and Kiron Open Higher Education’s digital education for Syrian refugee students in Jordan.
Through SIPA’s Public Policy Challenge, I co-founded Xchange Powered Design, where I helped organize digital marketing training for local and international mission-driven organizations.
Now, as an independent producer and communications liaison between organizations and their key stakeholders, I continue to spearhead multimedia projects, using visual storytelling to decipher complex development issues, from corporate social responsibility to climate action and immigration to education.
I believe everyone has a voice to be heard and a story to tell. I’d love to discover yours and help you share it with the world.
